It is my pleasure to present you with a wide selection of hammocks to choose from. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. My name is Alicia Gambley and I am originally from Merida, Mexico. I have distributed Mexican hammocks throughout Australia for over 20 yeas

I grew up in Mérida, immersed in the culture of Mexican hammocks. Since day one, I had my own hammock to sleep in, just like everyone else in Yucatán, Mexico. Eventually, I started producing Mexican hammocks with a small team of women in a town called Sinanché. At that time, I was exporting hammocks to France and the USA.

In 2002 I met my husband who is Australian and we decided to come here to his country and move my business to Australia.

And here I am, selling the best hammocks in the whole world to the Aussie world. I love it!

Based on my experience in the hammock world, I have tried various types of hammocks, including Mexican and Chinese styles. My goal is to offer you the best hammock selection in Australia. The unique feeling of a Mexican hammock cannot be compared to other styles.

When you lie down in a Mexican hammock, you can feel your body melt into a comfortable fine net. Unlike a Chinese hammock made of plastic or a thick cotton piece like those found in Brazil or Colombia, this hammock offers a unique resting experience. It is soft and cozy, handcrafted by a Mayan woman who works from home at her own pace. Designed for overnight sleep or a lengthy siesta, this hammock allows you to truly relax. This is where millions of people in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, sleep soundly at night.

The hammocks sold in my shop, will enable my family to support our Mexican weavers.

I am happy to assist you in any way I can. If you have questions about any of the hammocks I offer, please do not hesitate to contact me.
