Authentic Mexican hammocks, handwoven by Mayan artisans and proudly brought to Australia by Mayan Legacy since 2002.
After many years living in Australia, I saw the same problem again and again: people wanted to leave their hammock hanging outside, but the Australian sun is harsh and breaks down many materials.
So I designed this hammock with our weaving partners in Mexico using a soft, silky-feeling Super Nylon thread that stays comfortable while being incredibly durable.
I tested it myself, and friends tested it too. Some of these hammocks have now been hanging outdoors for 3, 5 and even 7 years. The colour may soften over time, but the hammock itself stays strong, comfortable and intact.
